Princess Eugenie opens family album: first photo of double baptism

The double baptism of Princess Eugenies and Zara Tindall’s sons was one of the royal highlights last year, but the first photo was a long time coming.

Windsor – Just in time for the start of the new year, the Royals are also taking a look back at the past months. As reported by 24royal.de *, Princess Eugenie (31) surprised her fans with a previously unpublished photo that was taken during a special family celebration.

Princess Eugenie * shared some pictures from her private photo album on Instagram to say goodbye to 2021. With sugary pictures of son August (10 months) and husband Jack Brooksbank (35), the 31-year-old looked back on her first year as a mother. The couple’s first child was born in early February, and the royal offspring was finally baptized in November. The service in the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor, in which Queen Elizabeth II (95) attended *, took place in camera at the time.

The palace has not yet published any official pictures, but in her review of the year, Eugenie gives an insight into the special ceremony in which August’s cousin Lucas Tindall (9 months) – the son of Zara Tindall * (40) – was baptized. On picture number eight of the photo show you can see the cute baby to be baptized in the royal christening gown, Mama Eugenie looks proudly at her son. In the background, the followers can apparently catch a somewhat blurry look at Lucas and his mother Zara *.
