Queen Margrethe is likely to have had a hand in the palace’s latest artistic project. The Danish royal family * has breathed new life into their online presence! For a few hours the website of the Royals, which provides all the important information, news and dates, has been shining in new splendor. The royal family announced the redesign of the homepage the day before with the help of a countdown, among other things.
The 81-year-old monarch and her family have had their own homepage on the Internet since the 1990s. As an Instagram post from the palace reveals, a lot has changed over the years. The strong blue of the earlier designs has given way to a sleek white and the digital offering that Royal fans around the world can access is greater than ever.

Queen Margrethe II: second career as an artist
The homepage focuses on the numerous public appearances that Queen Margrethe II, Crown Prince Frederik * (53) & Co. make in the service of the Crown. Important menu items such as the appointment calendar can still be called up, but there are also a few surprises hidden on the new page. Margaret’s work as an artist is honored with its own subpage, which shows the work of the regent.
