It is the dream of many heart and soul fans of Helene Fischer: A twelve-year-old knows the hit icon personally and reveals what he thinks of her.
Vienna – Helene Fischer knows a lot of people, but twelve-year-old Fabian knows her a little better. An auction for the benefit of “Licht ins Dunkel” took place at “Christmas Magic” (ORF), and Fabian took the name of the aid organization at its word. The young singer brought light into the darkness and chatted openly about his acquaintance with none other than hit icon Helene Fischer.

“Licht ins Dunkel – See the people” is the name of the largest humanitarian aid campaign in Austria, which is actively supported by ORF. For the third time, an auction of valuable art and cultural exhibits was held, with the proceeds going to a good cause. On December 19, 2021, nine Austrian celebrities collected over 200,000 euros, with soldiers of the Austrian Armed Forces also collecting donations over the phone. Musical acts from classical music, musical and pop performed as artistic entertainment, with small artists and representatives of the poetry slam also being given a place on the stage. One of these musical acts was Fabian, who not only impressed with his singing.
Fabian already sang with José Feliciano
He’s only twelve and already sings like a really big guy: Fabian, who wants to make a career under his stage name “FaWiJo”, performed the song “Feliz Navidad” with the second young talent of the evening, Larissa and the musician Gary Howard. The twelve-year-old brings stage experience through appearances with José Feliciano, who became famous with the same song sung by Fabian. In 1970 Feliciano published “Feliz Navidad” and since then it has become an integral part of every Christmas playlist.

The collaboration with José Feliciano opened further doors for Fabian. One of them was the one that led to Helene Fischer’s Christmas show (ZDF). “When I made a video with José Feliciano, Helene Fischer saw it and invited me to the Helene Fischer Show,” said Fabian on the ORF broadcast. On his own homepage he writes: “I was so excited and grateful that I was allowed to perform with Helene”. It was an honor for him to “appear at the annual Helene Fischer Christmas Show in Düsseldorf”.

“But that’s great,” said the ORF presenter about the collaboration between the young talent and the hit queen. The question of how Helene Fischer was backstage followed promptly. The twelve-year-old replied proudly and with a broad grin: “She is a very nice person. Really. Greetings to her ”.
Helene Fischer recently made another fan smile, because the 37-year-old pop singer was gondolaing a tram through a German city. She herself, on the other hand, has less to laugh about, because her show “Helene Fischer – 15 years of intoxication with success” flopped on television. A low blow for the otherwise so successful artist.
