Ticket Master and TikTok partner to sell tickets

Ticketmaster and TikTok come together in order to make the events of their favorite artists available to users, and to be able to purchase tickets to attend those that are of interest to them.

This new application in TikTok, users will be able to buy tickets for the events that interest them directly through the video platform. Additionally, content creators can now search for relevant Ticketmaster events and add destination links to their videos.

Ticketmaster, a company dedicated to selling tickets to different events, explained that the new feature will only be available to select creators at launch and will expand to more users over time.

How can I purchase Ticketmaster tickets on Tik Tok?

In this first trial, eligible creators will be able to select the “Add Link” option after tapping and selecting the new Ticketmaster option before posting a video. Creators can then search for any event on Ticketmaster and then select “Add to Video” to add the link.

Once creators share their video, the event link will be displayed at the bottom left to allow viewers to click through and purchase tickets through an in-app browser.

Some entertainers and entertainment companies that have already started using the feature include Demi Lovato, OneRepublic, Usher, Backstreet Boys and WWE.
