The microblogging platform Twitter has just acquired Tweetdeck , a convenient client for Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and Foursquare that works with the Adobe Air platform and that allows managing several accounts simultaneously. The acquisition has cost him between 40 and 50 million dollars.
TweetDeck, created in London in 2008, is an application that allows you to manage Twitter accounts, public and private conversations, uploading files and images, lists, etc. In recent years it has become one of the applications most valued by users for its polished interface and improved capabilities. In fact, the application generates 13% of the tweets that are published every day . The purchase of Twitter would respond, among other things, to the interest on the part of Jack Dorsey’s company to standardize the way to enjoy its platform , controlling the most popular applications.
