Two-year-old freezes to death looking for his parents

The temperature was as low as minus ten degrees when the two-year-old child began to look for his parents.

Linz – A two-year-old child in Austria froze to death while searching for his parents. According to information from the dpa, the boy left home during the night when the 31 and 28-year-old parents were visiting the neighbors.

On Thursday morning, the child was found lifeless in the area of the neighbors' garage. Resuscitation attempts by the emergency doctor failed.

The parents had left the child alone at home in a small town in Upper Austria near the Czech border. A baby monitor was switched on, but apparently didn't work. During the night, temperatures of up to minus ten degrees prevailed. The authorities are investigating suspected negligent homicide. dpa
