Venezuela: The Venezuelan opposition refuses to participate in the "electoral fraud" of Nicolás Maduro's legislatures

The Venezuelan opposition refuses to participate in another fraud orchestrated by the narco-dictator Nicolás Maduro. Up to 27 Venezuelan opposition parties have announced this Sunday that they will not participate in the legislative elections called for next December 6 by the Government of Nicolás Maduro, considering that it is an "electoral fraud" ordered by the president. "Having exhausted All our efforts nationally and internationally so that we have a competitive electoral process, which guarantees respect for the sovereign will of the people, the democratic political organizations of Venezuela declare to the Venezuelan people and the international community that, unanimously, we decided not to participate in the electoral fraud called by the Maduro regime, ”the 27 political formations have stated in a statement. The signatories include political parties with representation in the opposition National Assembly and two parties with indigenous representation. Among them, the four that make up the so-called G4 stand out: Primero Justicia, of which Henrique Capriles is part; Popular Will, led by Leopoldo López; as well as the social democrats Acción Democrática and Un Nuevo Tiempo. The parties consider this boycott as part of a "new democratic offensive for the salvation of Venezuela" and invite the international community to "reject the process and the results of this fraudulent process that violates democratic principles ”.
