Nikola Tesla (1856-1943)
Tesla was clear that it was important to have healthy habits, both for the body and for the mind. Hence, from a young age, he led a disciplined existence in which daily walking was an essential part of his planning . Eating too much and exercising too little were contrary to his philosophy. Tesla only ate two meals a day and walked eight to ten miles every day.
Other scientists who also practiced sports were: Benjamin Franklin, Severo Ochoa, Charles Darwin, Edwin Hubble, Stephen Hawking, Ivan Pavlov, Marie Curie, Enrico Fermi, Alan Turing, Carl Sagan, Rosalind Franklin, Ernest Rutherford or Niels Bohr.
