Returning to Black Friday, which is what concerns us, in Spain its popularization came from the hand of the German chain Media Markt in 2012 . That year was not very successful, but in 2013 important companies such as El Corte Inglés or Amazon joined in and then, yes, things came together. Since then there is no physical or virtual store that does not sign up for this day dedicated to shopping.
Black Friday de Amazon
In Amazon they have anticipated the official date of Black Friday. From November 8 to 18 they have offers of up to 40% discount in all product categories. Among the most sought after are smart devices such as speakers, plugs and thermostats (the latter to save energy), flashlights and gas stoves (for those who are preparing for a major blackout) and various appliances such as air fryers or autonomous vacuum cleaners.
Last year, the most interesting Black Friday discounts were made on technological products such as portable speakers, wearables such as activity bracelets and smart watches. Some mobile phones and headsets also experienced price drops.
Black Friday de Zara
The Spanish textile giant plans to start Black Friday on November 25 at 10 p.m. in its online store . If, in addition, you have its app installed on your mobile, you will be able to access the offers two hours before, that is, at 8 p.m. You will not be able to buy until the 26th but you can load the cart so you only have to give it to pay as soon as Black Friday begins.
On November 26 the discounts will reach physical stores and will last 24 hours. The sales will be made on certain products, not on the entire collection and are expected to range from 20% to 40% on selected clothing and accessories.
Black Friday the Media Markt
The chain of stores that introduced in Spain on Black Friday is ahead of the official date and already offers interesting discounts on televisions, smartphones, laptops, computer accessories, computers, monitors, appliances, vacuum cleaners, consoles, scooters and games. Of course, the largest offers are expected on the 26th and will last throughout the weekend , even while stocks last.
Black Friday at El Corte Inglés
El Corte Inglés will apply discounts for Black Friday to all its departments : women’s and men’s clothing, children’s fashion, electronics, appliances, laptops, mobiles, photography, cinema, video games, household items, kitchen, music, tickets …
Although Black Friday as such will begin on the 25th in the online store and on the 26th in physical establishments, you can already find some discounts on the stores’ website. Black Friday offers will be the same on the web as in physical stores, so if you don’t want to queue, your option is digital. If, on the other hand, you are more to see the product in person, your thing is that you go to one of its establishments.
The Black Friday offers will last until the 28th. One day later, on the 29th, Cyber Monday will arrive.
