A film for the whole family: the sequel to “Bigfoot Junior” promises good entertainment.
Berlin – Adam is half a Bigfoot, albeit a lot less hairy than his father, whom he recently found again. A new adventure awaits Adam and his family – which also includes a very plump grizzly bear named Wilbur, Tina the squirrel and trapper, an immensely active raccoon – in “Bigfoot Junior – A Crazy Family Trip”.
Together they live in a cute family house. While Adam can gradually get used to his special powers there, he is a little sad that his furry father spends so little time with him: Bigfoot wants to make the world a little better. It’s about saving a small valley from an unscrupulous oil company. So Bigfoot heads out into the Alaskan wilderness. Suddenly, however, he is gone. So Adam’s mother Shelly (the one with the oversized glasses), Wilbur, Trapper and of course Adam himself decide to find out what actually happened.
After “Bigfoot Junior” from 2017, this is now the second adventure involving Adam, Shelly and their animal and rather furry friends. The script for this 89-minute film was again penned by Bob Barlen and Cal Brunker, who also jointly brought the animated film “Nix wie weg – vom Planet Earth” to the cinemas.
As with the debut, the director was the filmmaker duo Ben Stassen and Jérémie Degruson. Like its predecessor (which is said to have grossed more than $ 47 million at the worldwide box office), the second “Bigfoot Junior” is a Belgian-French co-production. The German film and media rating FBW wrote about this film: “Lots of variety, inspiring messages and many original characters make the continuation of the Bigfoot adventure great fun for the whole family”.
