A bizarre moderation on ORF leads to Roman Rafreider being released from his duties. The appearance causes speculation.
Vienna – In Austria, a moderator of the public service broadcaster was suspended. This is Roman Rafreider. The reason for the measure was apparently his appearance on Tuesday evening (14.12.2021) around 10 p.m. on ORF.
Rafreider moderated the program “ZiB Flash” and was repeatedly babbling or mumbling. The Austrian daily Der Standard reports that the ORF presenter is said to have been drunk. After the TV show, comments in social networks that criticized the lack of seriousness of the format increased.
