The youngest member of the Danish royal family is celebrating a special birthday: Princess Athena, the daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, turns ten!
Paris – Just in time for her anniversary, Princess Athena dressed up for a little photo shoot and posed in front of her mother Princess Marie’s (45) camera. The pictures cause great enthusiasm – not only among the Danish Royal fans.

Although Princess Athena grows up far from Amalienborg Palace, Queen Margrethe’s youngest granddaughter (81) is of course an integral part of the Danish Royals. Athena lives with her parents Prince Joachim (52) and Princess Marie and her brother Henrik (12) in France, her mother’s home country. On special occasions, however, she regularly visits Copenhagen. Just a few days ago, she celebrated her grandmother’s 50th jubilee with the entire royal family.
