Prince Harry has seemingly got in touch with his father Prince Charles to have “friendly video calls” ahead of the Queen’s Jubilee.
Windsor – Prince Harry (37) and Prince Charles (73) have apparently become closer recently. A source told The Sun about “friendly video calls” and that the Duke of Sussex “wants to be closer to his family”.
He wanted to “return to the herd” before the Queen’s 70th platinum anniversary, reports 24royal.de.
Prince Harry* approached his father to have secret talks before spring. April marks the anniversary of the death of the Duke of Edinburgh* (99, † 2021), whose memorial service Harry will want to attend, after all it is his grandfather. Also for the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II* in the summer it can be assumed that he would like to be in Great Britain.
A dispute in advance of police protection for Harry’s family living in the United States with Duchess Meghan * (40) and the two children Archie (2) and Lilibet Diana (7 months) had questioned the return of the family. In a never-before-heard request to the Home Office, Prince Harry asked for the decision* to be reconsidered. It was rumored that Queen Elizabeth II* didn’t want to make an exception. However, the source confirms that Harry wants to be closer to his family again.
Regardless of the outcome of the dispute over security, there have apparently been “friendly talks”. Relations between the heir to the throne Prince Charles* and his son in exile have definitely eased. They understand each other much better and have been on the phone and video calling. Harry has apparently taken note that he could regret the ongoing bitterness in the family, the insider suspects.. * 24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
