The criminal offenses in Hamburg are on a decreasing trend. Nevertheless, there are more attempted killings and more and more crime on the Internet.
Hamburg – In Hamburg, the number of crimes is falling overall, but the number of attempted murders is increasing. The crime statistics for 2021 show that the corona pandemic also had some good effects. The numbers for burglaries and car thefts have fallen significantly because many more people are staying at home more often and are working from home, for example.
24hamburg.de reveals here which crimes are increasingly being committed.
On the one hand, the Internet is increasingly becoming the scene of crime. Online fraud and, above all, child pornography are a major problem that the Hamburg police also face. On the other hand, the number of attempted homicides has increased sharply compared to the previous year. However, the number of actually successful cases of murder or manslaughter remained the same as in the previous year.
A positive trend: Overall, crime in Hamburg has steadily decreased in recent years. However, the clearance rate increases a little, or remains at a similar level. * 24hamburg.de is an offer for IPPEN.MEDIA.
