Tom Brady has scored for the Patriots on the football field, but can the star quarterback pull through on camera? In any case, he gets support from the big names in Hollywood.
Los Angeles – American football superstar Tom Brady (44), who announced his retirement from the sport in early February, will appear in front of the camera with Hollywood icons such as Jane Fonda (84) and Rita Moreno (90).
The studio Paramount Pictures announced the film project “80 for Brady” on Twitter.
Brady is on board with the road trip comedy as a producer and also as an actor. The cast also includes actresses Lily Tomlin (82) and Sally Field (75). Writer/producer Kyle Marvin (“The Climb”) is on board to direct. Filming is slated to begin this spring.
Inspired by a true story, the story revolves around four best friends who, as veteran fans of the New England Patriots, travel to the Super Bowl in 2017 to meet star quarterback Brady. Tomlin, Fonda, Moreno and Field play the adventurous foursome of women.
Brady is the most successful quarterback in the history of the sport. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New England Patriots. dpa
