Even after the corona pandemic, Queen Elizabeth reportedly no longer wants to live in Buckingham Palace in London. Is she now completely withdrawing from the public?
London – Buckingham Palace in the British capital is actually the official residence of the monarch. Queen Elizabeth II (95) hasn’t lived there for a while. It is said that she does not want to return to London permanently in the future either.
24royal.de* reveals here when there will still be a reunion with Queen Elizabeth in London.
For decades, Buckingham Palace in London was the center of Queen Elizabeth’s life. The residence in the British capital not only served as a residence for the regent and her husband Prince Philip (99, † 2021), state guests were also received there. In the past two years, however, the Queen has rarely been seen in London – not least because of the corona pandemic. After the virus broke out worldwide, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip retreated to Berkshire. Windsor Castle suddenly went from weekend residence to main residence. Even after the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, the monarch remained in Windsor – partly because of the ever-increasing number of corona infections. However, many Royal fans firmly expected their head of state to return to London sooner or later. According to reports, however, nothing will come of it. *24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
