Mette-Marit and Haakon: Young environmentalists inspire the royals

Mette-Marit and her husband Haakon recently welcomed special guests to Gut Skaugum. A squad of young environmentalists made a powerful impression on the royals.

Asker – When Crown Princess Mette-Marit (48) and Crown Prince Haakon (48) open their doors at Gut Skaugum in Asker, they usually expect high-ranking representatives from politics or business. Recently, the heir to the throne received a whole group of children at home instead.
24royal.de* shows the photos of Mette-Marit and Haakon with the young environmentalists.

Crown Prince Haakon has been particularly committed to protecting the environment and climate for years. With his wife Mette-Marit, he has the perfect ally at his side, because the Crown Princess is also committed to nature conservation. But the two of them don't just leave it at theory with their commitment. They like to lend a hand with their children Ingrid Alexandra (18) and Sverre Magnus (16), for example, in garbage collection campaigns on Norway's beaches. The youngest of the couple's appointments was therefore also a very special one. At their Gut Skaugum residence, Haakon and Mette-Marit welcomed eight children from all over Norway, who care about environmental protection at least as much as the royals themselves. *24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
