The successor to the 9-euro ticket is also being discussed in NRW. There are two prominent suggestions. An interim solution was found from September.
Cologne – As in all of Germany, the 9-euro ticket in North Rhine-Westphalia will expire at the end of August. The federal and state governments agree that there should be a successor, but which one is still unclear. In North Rhine-Westphalia, two proposals from the Greens and the SPD are being discussed in particular.
24RHEIN shows which successors to the 9-euro ticket are possible in NRW.
