The Bank of Mexico (Banxico) estimated this Wednesday a lower growth for the national economy in 2023.
Faced with a reduction in global economic expectations, Banxico reduced its growth forecasts for the country to 1.6% from a previously estimated 2.4%.
For this year, expectations remain at 2.2%.
For the generation of jobs before the IMSS, Banxico estimates more jobs with a range of 640,000 to 800,000 jobs. For the next year, the creation of between 420,000 and 620,000 jobs is expected. A lower amount than this year.
