The police in Füssen saved a stray cat from the A7. Since an official found it difficult to part with the animal, he adopted it without further ado.
Füssen – It’s a heartwarming story. The Bavarian police found a stray cat on the Autobahn 7 near Füssen last Thursday (August 25). The officials take the kitten to the police station in Füssen. The kitten stayed there until someone from the shelter came and took her away. This is reported by the police in Swabia South/West in a Facebook post.
“When the colleague adopts the found cat”: the police describe the story on Facebook
The post begins with the words: “When the colleague adopts the found cat”. Behind a salmon miley. There is also a photo – probably taken in the Füssen police station – that shows the small black and white cat on the shoulder of a police officer. “However, a colleague found it difficult to part with the cat and then adopted it from the animal shelter and now it has a new home,” says the end of the article.
“The little one has probably decided and adopted the colleague,” comments a user on the post and receives many likes. “These are stories that life writes. Great,” someone says happily. “How nice” and “a big thank you to my colleagues” can also be read.
Facebook users give police officers important advice
The reactions are consistently positive. However, some of the Facebook users have a little concern about the adoption: “It’s so beautiful! But please add a kitten. Cats, especially such young kittens, should not be single cats!”. Another user is also happy about the policeman’s heart, but asks the officers to tell the colleague that he urgently needs a second kitten. “Kittens should never be kept alone”.
A woman then comments that she has the cat’s “little brother” at home and that the colleague should get in touch so that the kittens can be brought together. Whether the kitten will get back together with his sibling remains to be seen. The animal-loving colleague certainly has room for another cat. (tkip)
A very similar case took place in the United States. A cop finds a stray kitten under his squad car and takes it in. Now the two go on patrol together.
