How to change our Instagram name in the web browser
If you access Instagram through your web browser , you must go to Instagram.com to start the process. Once inside, and after having logged into our account, we touch the account icon that we will find in the upper right part of the screen.
Then we touch Edit profile , and in this section we click on the Name or Username field to add the changes. When we are ready to save the changes, we simply click on the Submit button.
How to change our Instagram name in the mobile app
If you use the Instagram app, you should know that it is perfectly possible to change your name . And you can also do it easily without too many complications.
To do this, we must start Instagram from the home screen of our device. Then, we touch the account icon that we will find in the lower right part of the screen, which will take us to our profile screen.
In case we have more than one account, we will have to choose the name of the account that we want to change at the top of the screen. Then, we tap on Edit profile .
On this page we touch the field next to Name , or Username , and add the new name that we want to use. Now, simply when we are ready to save the changes, click on the Done option.
As we can see, the process to follow is actually quite simple and simple, so whenever we need to modify our public name, or username, we will only have to choose one of the two methods previously exposed.
