If you use Windows 10 it is very possible that you already know that the so-called Home Group disappeared at the beginning of 2018, after Microsoft decided to suppress it after carrying out some other big update.
It is possible that, for many users, this was very bad news, especially since this function offered the possibility, easily, of sharing files, folders and printers easily and without being an expert, between the different computers connected to the same home network.
In other words, it was a tremendously interesting feature in simplifying the process of sharing resources on a small network .
However, after its official disappearance just a few years ago, it is still possible to create a local network in Windows 10 that offers us, at least, the same advantages and uses as the old Home Group. But, yes, it is necessary to follow a series of additional steps, which means that, technically, it is not as straightforward or simple as the previous option removed.
