Stickers (or stickers) are nothing new by themselves. Some time ago they became quite popular in the WhatsApp application belonging to Facebook, which already has more than 2,000 million users, but recently they have the possibility of incorporating or combining with audios to transform them into more realistic messages and, for of course, fun.
Many users already use them, the stickers, but maybe not how to send them to our contacts with built-in sounds.
Previously, WhatsApp was limited to exchanging text and images, but, as it has evolved, it is now possible to share GIFs, videos, emojis and many other interactive resources. However, one of the most anticipated features was the ability to send animated stickers or stickers through the application.
Send a sticker with built-in sound?
Animated stickers or stickers can be created and sent with sound, although the sound or audio is not inside the sticker but is played in parallel; that is, the stickers can not only appear in motion but also do it to the rhythm of a piece of music, for example. It is something that attracts a lot of attention when you receive it.
How is this effect achieved?
It’s simple. This option, which is available since September 2020, made to surprise our contacts, is quite easy to do and its possibilities are endless. There are several ways to send stickers with embedded audio. We show you:
Copy stickers from other users
Nothing with less effort than this option. It is probably the most obvious and least creative of all, but the possibility is there to access animated stickers with sound. If you have already received one of these stickers with built-in audio, you can take them and send them to other contacts as if they were yours.
Using Giphy
This one will require more intervention on our part. The first step is to log into Giphy, the popular platform that allows users to download and create GIFs. Look for the “Stickers” tab at the top of the web site. There you will see that moving images appear without a background. Download the ones you want. The sticker you have chosen will be downloaded in GIF format, but it will not yet be functional in WhatsApp. Now, you will have to go to change the extension to WEBP and change the resolution to 512 x 512 pixels before loading the file so that it does not give you any problem. Finally, you can enter WhatsApp, then Files, copy the file in WEBP format, paste it in the application’s Stickers folder and that’s it. Once you have it, you can share it with your friends quickly and easily.
Applications to create animated stickers
In the market there are many mobile applications on Android and iOS that help users to have animated stickers with sounds. Some allow us to create them and others have a long list of animated stickers with sound already created for us to share or send through WhatsApp. There are many apps, don’t believe it, like “WAstickerapps” or “Create sticker memes” , but if you use the Google Play or iOS search engine you will see that there are a huge number of them.
With the help of an editing application
You can look for a conventional music editor in the app store that will allow you to record sounds or cut out musical pieces to extract and use them on other platforms. You just have to select the piece in question and attach it to the animated WhatsApp sticker: the sticker will move to the rhythm of the music that will be played separately but simultaneously.
