Fractal Caravan Knocks International Doors With "21st Century Paleo Man"

The band, made up of members from different countries, is promoting its new release with sounds of rock and roll, punk, indie rock and the alternative.

Fractal Caravan, the band formed by Edwin Quirk (Guitar / Voice), Fabio Montenegro (Bass) and David Cornejo (Drums) present “21st Century Paleo Man” , a song recorded between Bogotá and Brooklyn. The single collects the influences of its members, to translate them into this new material from the Planetary Roker of Fractal Caravan.

(We recommend: Rodrigo Guardiola, Zoé’s rhythm).

“21st Century Paleo Man” is a mix of the sounds of rock and roll, punk, indie rock and the alternative, carrying the influences of The Ramones, Ziggy Stardust, The Cramps and The Hives. A style rescued from countries like the United States, Colombia and Peru, where each of the members are from.

This new song was recorded between 2016 and 2018 in Bogotá and Brooklyn, under the production of Edwin Quirk and Fabio Montenegro, members of the band, at Chago Studios (Bogotá) and Machete Sisters (Brooklyn), with the mix of Hani Zahra and marterization of Greg Calbi (The Ramones, David Bowie, John Lennon) in Sterling Sound (NYC).

“It’s 2 minutes about accepting our animal nature. It also captures the feeling of being locked up (in quarantine) for a long time and wanting to explode back to life and live! ”Said Fractal Caravan.

The video clip was made in Brooklyn at the end of 2020 by “DIY”, under the direction of Dane William (Camera and editing) and Edwin Quirk in his acting debut as “Paleo Man” (protagonist of the clip).

The message of this audiovisual piece is to evoke the feeling of being locked up and isolated for a long time , in addition to looking for a way to escape; to realize that in the end, there is nowhere to escape.

Fractal Caravan seeks this year to connect with its fans and continue to grow its audience, that is why they have released two singles: “Good Intentions, Bad Ideas” a grunge rocker about the dystopia we live in and “21st Century Paleo Man”, which it goes more towards punk rock. New releases are expected to arrive in the course of the year.
