Couple dragging dog behind Mercedes Vito – 120 meters (!) Long blood trail

Brutal and heartless: this is how you can describe what shocked eyewitnesses recently saw in Leipzig. But the couple will now be held accountable.

Eilenburg (Saxony) – The way some people treat their pets is simply disgusting: It is hard to believe that what a couple from Eilenburg near Leipzig has done to their mixed breed dog, loving mistresses and masters would do. But late in the evening, the 34-year-old man and his 31-year-old girlfriend probably no longer wanted to go for a walk with the five-year-old four-legged friend. And without further ado, they decided to drive.

But not without first attaching the male, who is supposed to be called “Jack”, to the trailer hitch of the Mercedes Vito with a rope. Then the couple is said to have dragged the dog behind the pickup truck, as shocked residents report. They then called the police, who immediately dispatched a patrol car: “The colleagues discovered a trail of blood about 120 meters long on the road,” said the police. Shortly thereafter, the officers locate the van and its occupants, according to initial investigations, the woman is said to have driven the car. The dog, on the other hand, belongs to the man who also has a criminal record. The mongrel dog is said to have still been attached to the trailer hitch of the Mercedes Vito, but was disturbed and crawled under the vehicle with bloody paws.
