As every year the largest search engine in the world has released, shortly after 2013, its particular Zeitgeist. Or what is the same, a series of lists that show the most searched words in different parts of the world and those that have had the highest search growth this year. Unexpected events such as the death of Paul Walker or Álvaro Bultó and television programs such as Big Brother 14, Gandía Shore or Eurovision 2013 have been some of the most searched words this year .
In addition, as explained from Google, they have wanted to observe the evolution of searches related to the hackneyed word “crisis”. In this regard, “anxiety crisis” overcomes “economic crisis” and they are followed by “couple crisis”, “subsistence crisis” and “existential crisis”. In other words, although the economic crisis is on everyone’s lips, it seems that the media saturation related to it makes us look less for this term.
At a technological level, the largest number of searches accumulate around applications, especially Line, the Outlook mail manager itself and new devices such as the Nexus 5, iPhone 5, Nexus 4 and the PS 4.
