If you wear these clothes and lie, you better hide. Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde has created an innovative garment that becomes completely transparent when the wearer is lying . The invention, which is part of the Intimacy 2.0 project, uses leather with electronic foils that change its opacity depending on the rhythm of the heartbeat . Thus, this intelligent fabric manages to respond to social interaction by modifying the electric current and light to alternate between an opaque state and a transparent one.
Daan is in charge of Studio Roosegaarde, which can be described as an artistic laboratory of interactive projects, especially projects that relate technology to the interactivity of humans, sound and emotions. Some of his most recent creations are Dune , an interactive landscape made up of hundreds of LEDs; and Lotus 7.0 , which consists of a reactive wall in which the body heat of the visitors causes hundreds of aluminum flowers to open.
