Numerous construction projects are changing Cologne: A lively district is to be created in Ehrenfeld – with rooftop terraces and co-working areas.
Cologne – German cities are changing: areas are being used for new purposes, and in some cases entire districts are being rebuilt in addition to numerous apartments in inner-city locations. This is also the case in Cologne*. In Ehrenfeld*, two construction projects should ensure that a new, lively district is created there. “We plan to have a lot of greenery on the roofs, as well as roof top terraces and bars. We want life to take place not only in the quarters, but also on the roofs," it says.
24RHEIN shows how two projects are intended to change the Cologne district of Ehrenfeld.
The site, on which the excavators are to roll in the next few years, is still being used as a scrap yard by the Max Becker company. The company will leave the site in 2022, when apartments, local amenities and green spaces will be built there. *24RHEIN is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
