With a so-called "turbo construction site", a section of the A61 in North Rhine-Westphalia is to be completely renewed in a few days. But that also leads to a complete closure of the freeway.
Kaldenkirchen/Viersen – 63,000 square meters of motorway are to be renewed on the A61 in NRW* in just a few days. The responsible Autobahn GmbH speaks of a "turbo construction site". However, this will also cause significant traffic problems on the A61 in the district of Viersen* from March 4th. The freeway will be completely closed in both directions.
24RHEIN* shows when the A61 will be closed.
Both directions of travel are affected, both to Venlo and to Koblenz. Autobahn GmbH is completely renewing the road towards Koblenz and laying low-noise asphalt. (bs) *24RHEIN is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
