Alicia Keys releases the remix of “Underdog” with Nicky Jam and Rauw Alejandro

The 15 Grammy Award-winning artist and music icon released a special remix of her single, featuring Latin music sensations Nicky Jam and Rauw Alejandro. “Underdog” is from Keys’ seventh and most recent studio album.

15 Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys presents the remix of “Underdog” in conjunction with Latin stars Nicki Jam and Rauw Alejandro. The original version of this single is certified platinum and was number one on the general iTune chart and became the most added song on Top 40 radio in the United States after its release.

Keys wrote the original version with Ed Sheeran and co-produced with Johnny McDaid. “Underdog” is from Alicia’s seventh and most recent studio album, “Alicia.” The album was met with critical acclaim on its original release in September, featured as the New York Times “Critic’s Pick” and with Variety calling it their best studio album yet, “pushing the limits of your voice and imagination.” , and has received nominations for the BET, MTV, VMA and Soul Train Awards.

The album has spawned an eclectic group of hit singles, including “Underdog,” which showcases the many sides of Keys as a person and as an artist. Beyond the chart-topping hit single, the album includes Khalid’s emotional duet “So Done,” which reached # 1 on US adult R&B radio; and “Show Me Love”, with Miguel. The latter earned Keys a record that stretched to No. 12 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Song Playback Chart.
