Vogelsberg – Maria Concetta Guglielmo from Schlitz im Vogelsberg (Hessen) noticed something on the bottom of the four-meter pool when she wanted to cool down. At first she had no idea that it was a human being, she reports to the Fuldaer Zeitung. However, she asked her companion Salvatore Panebianco to dive for the conspicuous “object”. And then it pulled the ten-year-old boy to the surface, who wasn’t breathing anymore.

“The boy had already turned blue as lightning,” Guglielmo recalls with a shudder. Apparently it was only a few moments and the ten-year-old would have died in the water. The boy, who apparently couldn’t swim, was not even noticed by the other bathers when he sank into the pool. Fortunately, a medic was on site and promptly began resuscitating the child.
