A bus coming from Poland crashed in Croatia. There is still no reliable information about the cause of the accident.
Zagreb – At least eleven people died in a serious bus accident in Croatia on Saturday morning. 34 other people suffered serious injuries, Croatian television reported, citing police and rescue workers. The bus had come from Poland.
The accident happened on a highway 60 kilometers northwest of Zagreb. The bus was coming from the Hungarian border towards Zagreb. The cause was initially unknown. Authorities assumed the driver had fallen asleep behind the wheel, the TV report said. dpa
