Augustiner Bräu opens a tavern in the middle of Cologne’s old town. The opening of the Augustiner at Heumarkt is planned for this year.
Cologne – There will soon be a bit of a Munich atmosphere in Cologne – right in the middle of the old town. From mid-December, Cologne residents will be able to enjoy pretzels, white sausages, dumplings and other Bavarian delicacies in the former Maredo branch on Heumarkt. As a result, there will soon be several restaurants in Cologne’s old town that focus on Bavarian cuisine. The “Starnberger Alm” opened at the beginning of the year.
