Bad development after the explosion in a Garching basement laboratory: A man seriously injured in the accident died in the hospital on Monday afternoon.
Garching – As reported, there had previously been a violent explosion in the basement of a company near Garching’s Bürgerplatz. The three-story building was shrouded in thick smoke, and flames broke out in the cellar.

To determine the cause of the fire, the investigators have now also brought the State Criminal Police Office on board. The police put the damage to the house provisionally at 200,000 to 300,000 euros.
