Munich – Occasionally it happens in everyday life that you see signs or notices and think: “Huh? That’s obvious.” Why do you need a hint? Anyone with common sense knows that.
If you think so. However, spectacular court judgments from the USA in particular prove that it is sometimes better to formulate an indication, no matter how trivial. Now we are not in the USA, but in Germany. But even in this country, common sense is doubted in some places. Apparently this is also the case with Rewe. A customer shared an amusing picture on Twitter, apparently taken in one of the grocer’s supermarkets.
You can see a dispenser standing by the salad bar. A yellow piece of paper is stuck or attached to it. It reads, “No salad dressing!! Please disinfect your hands here. Thank you. ”Now one does not know why Rewe felt compelled to point this out. Just to be on the safe side, or to forestall a lawsuit? Has there ever been a mix-up and a customer dumped disinfectant on the salad instead of dressing? We do not know it.

One user surmised that this is where the bottle of salad dressing usually sits, and then someone thought it actually had dressing in it. Other users shared similarly bizarre pictures. A woman posted a note that hangs with her gynecologist. “Please do not throw any stool or urine samples in the mailbox!!!!”, it says. You can’t even imagine that something like this has happened before.
Another presented a Burger King burger box that said: “Recommended consumption: open the box before eating.” Another user wrote of a similar mix-up: “I had it all reversed – thought it was a disinfectant dispenser, but it was Syrup.” This shows that a tip is not unimportant, no matter how bizarre it may appear.
