The incidence in Germany continues to fall. This also eases the situation in the supermarkets. The Corona rules for July 1st at a glance.

Frankfurt – What did not have to close everything during the Corona * pandemic. Leisure facilities, hairdressers, shops, but one constant remained. The supermarkets were always open. In the meantime, however, the situation in Germany has eased, and the shops have resumed operations with strict measures and security concepts. The emergency brake has been in effect in Germany since April 23. It takes effect in regions with a 7-day incidence of over 100. However, it expired on June 30th.

It’s just as if the incidence in Germany is falling further *. According to the Robert Koch Institute, the nationwide incidence on Thursday (July 1st) was 5.1. And yet it is clear: if the corona numbers rise again, stricter measures will also take effect. But what then applies in the supermarkets of Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Edeka and Co. from July 1st?

  • A space of 20 square meters must be made available to each buyer
  • For supermarkets with more than 800 square meters, it would be twice as much

Rules for shopping: mask requirement and keeping your distance

However, since the incidence in Germany is currently very low, the rules are unlikely to apply in July. The long queues in front of supermarkets are also a thing of the past for the time being. These were warned in April as a result of the federal emergency brake.

As before, when shopping, the rule of wearing an FFP2 mask or a medical mask as well as keeping your distance applies. These rules should stay with us for a while in our everyday shopping. (nc) * fr.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
