TV chef Alfons Schuhbeck is on trial in Munich. He is charged with tax evasion. New episodes of “Alfons & Ali – Enjoyment high 3” have been put on hold.
Munich – Because of the tax evasion process against star chef Alfons Schuhbeck, Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) is taking his cooking programs out of the TV program for the time being. The public broadcaster confirmed a corresponding report from “T-Online” to the German Press Agency on Thursday in Munich.
The BR said it was five episodes of “Alfons & Ali – Enjoyment high 3”. These should actually be broadcast every Sunday at 5:15 p.m. from October 16th. The new episodes of “Schuhbeck’s kitchen cabaret” from November 20th will not be broadcast either. No further productions are currently planned.
Schuhbeck is accused of tax evasion in the millions before the Munich I district court. This week, the 73-year-old top chef made an extensive confession. dpa
