Hollywood star Brad Pitt (58) is still puzzling over how he feels about a big question. In Berlin he presented his new film “Bullet Train” on Tuesday – in it he plays a contract killer who has been plagued by bad luck. In the film he talks a lot about bad luck, luck and fate. What does he think about these big issues himself?
Berlin – “In the film, which I think is really funny, there is this subliminal message of destiny,” Pitt told journalists. “And that we are all agents of fate in some way.” He tends to think so, but argues with himself a lot.
He doesn’t know how much fate is or how much personal will. “I think both are involved,” Pitt said, adding, “Only because I don’t have a better answer.”
The action comedy Bullet Train is slated to hit theaters on August 4th. Pitt plays an assassin codenamed “Ladybug”. When he is assigned to a new mission in Japan, he meets a number of other assassins on a train whose stories are intertwined. dpa
