According to a spokeswoman for the HSB Harzer Schmalspurbahnen GmbH (Wernigerode), the level crossing at Misery is secured with a St. Andrew’s Cross. The train of the so-called Harzquerbahn drove on the route from Nordhausen (Thuringia) in the direction of Brocken.
