Cosby sentenced to three to ten years in prison for sexually assaulting a woman in his mansion

Actor Bill Cosby has been sentenced to prison for three to ten years for sexually assaulting a woman at his Philadelphia mansion 14 years ago. "As a result of Mr. Cosby's recent criminal conviction, the Board concluded that his actions have overshadowed the professional achievements that these Kennedy Center distinctions seek to recognize, ”the organization announced in a statement. The criminal conviction and imprisonment is a devastating final chapter in the Career of this 20th century American pop culture giant, the son of a maid who became the first black actor to win an Em my and occupy a starring role in primetime on American television.
