A moment of shock over Hamburg: A motor glider landed in the middle of the port unplanned. The pilots themselves were apparently to blame for the incident.
Hamburg – A motor glider from Uetersen (Schleswig-Holstein) landed unplanned on Saturday evening on a wasteland in the Hamburg port area. Both occupants, two young men, were unharmed. According to the police, however, the machine is no longer airworthy because the propeller bent during landing.
The pilots themselves were apparently to blame for the emergency landing of the small plane, reports 24hamburg.de.
The incident is also likely to have financial consequences. A salvage company is to transport the plane away on Sunday.
