Crazy illusion: this photo confuses many observers – what do you see?

Users have been racking their brains for a long time about a photo on the Internet. Two people can be seen in the snapshot – but somehow the whole thing looks pretty strange.

Munich – Is that an optical illusion or edited? A photo on Twitter made a really big splash several years ago. Because at first glance, the recording is confusing. Everyone sees something different. It is an optical illusion that has been doing the rounds under the title “The Hug”.

The photo shows a man and a woman, but the question of which body belongs to which head makes the viewer ponder. “At first I thought he was wearing heels,” user @Boom_likean808 tweeted along with the image. And it was precisely with this brief comment that he started a passionate discussion.

Users react promptly. “I don’t understand it,” wrote one: “He’s wearing heels?” While some are wondering, others already have a plausible explanation for the bizarre hug photo: “Your head is on his shoulder,” says one.

“The Hug” – With color against the doubts

To dispel the last doubts, some use color and thus outline the body contours of the two.

However. The photo is strange. Because, although most people have understood which head belongs to which body – the first impression can hardly be erased. And they see a man in heels hugging a woman. The optical illusion of a wall also became a hit on the internet. (ml) *tz.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
