Augsburg – Hollywood star Ryan Gosling did not meet with enthusiasm from his little daughters with the role of Ken in the new movie “Barbie”.
The 41-year-old told the “Augsburger Allgemeine” (Saturday) that he actually wanted to play in a film that he could show his six- and seven-year-old daughters. “That played a little bit into why I did the Barbie movie,” he said. But the girls couldn’t do anything with the Ken he embodied, the Canadian said. “Why do you want to be Ken?” they’ve asked me before. “No one wants to play with Ken!” Gosling said. “From their perspective, they are only interested in Barbie.” dpa
