Diane Kruger: Germany remains my home

Even though she lives in New York and has made a career in Hollywood, Diane Kruger has not forgotten where her roots are.

Berlin – The actress Diane Kruger (45) still has an emotional connection to Germany even after many years abroad. "For me it remains my home," she told the German Press Agency on the phone.

Her roots are in Germany. “And of course I also want my daughter to grow up with it.” She speaks German with her, for example.

She associates the Christmas season in particular with Germany and her own childhood. Kruger grew up in Algermissen, Lower Saxony. She later went to France as a model. Today she lives in New York.
