The “Pop-Titan” seems a bit meek in a new video: “I don’t just want to go back to the casting show now to rate any singers again.” His comeback therefore still needs some time.
Palma de Mallorca / Berlin – The deposed “DSDS” chief juror Dieter Bohlen has announced his comeback.
“The most asked question in the last few months is of course: When will we see you on TV again? Of course you can see me on TV again, ”said Bohlen in a new Instagram video that he posted on Monday from the Spanish island of Mallorca. Specifically, however, he could only announce an appearance in a commercial for the next few days.
Afterwards, he let his fans participate in his career considerations: “I just think about it. And I don’t just want to go back to the casting show because some singers are rating again. If I can somehow, of course I want to do something completely new that knocks you off your feet. And of course that takes time, so give me a little time to think. ”Bohlen stepped in front of the camera with a dark T-shirt, short jeans and opaque sunglasses. The music producer, songwriter and former singer of the Modern Talking duo seemed routinely cheerful, but also a little thoughtful, almost meek, when he appeared in the Instagram video.
In March RTL announced that there would be a completely new jury for the casting show classic “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (“DSDS”). This already applies to the upcoming season, which is currently being shot and will be broadcast in the coming year. After almost 20 years, the era of juror Dieter Bohlen in “DSDS” came to an end. In addition to TV presenter Silbereisen, producer Toby Gad and singer Ilse DeLange will also be on the jury in the future.
Bohlen was also shot by the Cologne private broadcaster on the RTL program “Das Supertalent”. Footballer Lukas Podolski will evaluate the stage performances there in the future. Next to him at the desk will be the designer Michael Michalsky and the presenter Chantal Janzen.
After the announcement by RTL, Bohlen had largely withdrawn from the public. “T-online”, “gala.de” and several other Internet portals also reported on Bohlen’s video on Tuesday. dpa
