Pastor makes a strange find under Christmas tree – “Didn’t want to alert the police about mulled wine spices”
Sebastian Appelfeller is a Protestant pastor in the Gnadental district. He hadn’t expected a discovery on December 11th. Under one of the Christmas trees that had been stored for sale in the inner courtyard of the church, a package was hidden somewhat.
There was something unusual in there. Especially nothing Christmas. But drugs. The confused pastor then called the police. A patrol came and found a “well-packed” package under the Christmas tree. As it turned out later, it was cannabis.
Pastor reports cannabis found under Christmas tree – police initially irritated
When Appelfeller called the police, he had to put up with critical questions. “So you are the pastor?” The official is said to have asked on the phone when Appelfeller reported the discovery of cannabis, reported the Rheinische Post . But on the spot, the police finally found that all of the pastor’s descriptions corresponded to reality.
They found four grams of the anesthetic in the package. The market value should be around 50 euros. The Rheinische Post told Appelfeller that he had no drug experience. “I didn’t want to alert the police about mulled wine spices,” he said. That’s why he asked former confirmands for help. They then advised him to report to the police. It had also become strange at Amazon. A funny mishap * had caused scorn and ridicule on the internet. Most recently, a curious find in the Cologne city library * even became an internet hit. * tz.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
