Does Google have something to do with Samsung's new smartwatch?

The next Samsung Galaxy watch will be announced at an Unpacked event this Christmas, and its new operating system and interface jointly designed by Google is called One UI Watch. The news came just a few days ago at a Samsung virtual event as an extension of the Mobile World Congress that was held this past summer.

However, all that Samsung has shown for now is the software interface . The actual design of the watch remains unknown, although there are some recent leaks as to what design it will eventually get, suggesting that it will look a lot like the more minimal design of Samsung's Galaxy Watch Active 2 (and possibly it will be called the Galaxy Watch 4).
