Packaging and specialty plastics. Industrial intermediates and infrastructure. Dow’s presence in Mexico

Dow has had an operational presence in Mexico for 63 years and is recognized as a key company in the petrochemical industry for its innovation, based on diverse and inclusive talent, sustainability in doing business, and its social commitment.

Inclusive robotics program with FIRST Robotics. Dow joined FIRST Robotics as strategic partners to advance science and robotics in 2014. Since then, more than 150 teams have participated around the world. In 2017, Dow supported its first robotics team in Mexico, WinT3794 from the TecMilenio Campus Toluca and the Pink Hawks, made up of 100% female students. They currently support more than 12 robotics teams in this global competition, as a way to spread STEM disciplines in an inclusive way.

Promote STEM capabilities together with the UNAM Faculty of Chemistry. The company is going to strengthen its collaboration and support for students from the UNAM Faculty of Chemistry, through a patronage that will be inaugurated in 2022. Reciclaton México 2022.
