Duchess meets Crown Princess: Kate and Mary get along great

The chemistry between these two royals is right: Crown Princess Mary gave Duchess Kate a warm and friendly welcome in Denmark.

Copenhagen – It is not every day that such high and stylish visitors stride through the gates of Amalienborg Palace. Queen Margrethe II (81) and Crown Princess Mary (50) greeted their guest of honor Duchess Kate (40) with a beaming smile on their faces. On day two of her trip to Denmark, the mother of three completed a varied program.

Chopping wood in the morning, lunch in the palace at noon: Duchess Kate had already created an agenda with a few appointments in advance so that there was no boredom during her flying visit. The focus of her trip was early childhood education – a matter close to the heart of the Duchess, which she would like to promote with the help of her institute. After her arrival, Kate paid a visit to the University of Copenhagen, among other places, where she promptly caught baby fever. The next day we finally went to a forest kindergarten, shortly afterwards the next outfit change was announced.

In the magnificent Palais Christian IX. Duchess Kate was officially welcomed by Queen Margrethe, who apparently recovered well from her corona disease, and Crown Princess Mary. While Mary posed for the camera in a simple black dress and white coat, Kate slipped into a sleek gray coat by Catherine Walker for the meetup. *24royal.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
