Epstein abuse scandal: is Prince Andrew coming out of hiding?

It is said from Prince Andrew’s circles that he could get out of cover. There are allegations of abuse against the Queen’s son in connection with the Epstein case.

London – Prince Andrew (61) is getting serious. In the United States, a civil sexual abuse lawsuit has been served against Queen Elizabeth II’s second eldest son. The documents were handed in on Monday (September 20, 2021, local time) in the office of his lawyer in Los Angeles, said the lawyers of plaintiff Virginia Giuffre. In addition, an email with the documents was sent last Friday.

The American accuses the Royal of having sexually abused her a good 20 years ago as a 17-year-old and is now demanding compensation. Andrew denies the allegations.

Epstein case: Prince Andrew has gone into hiding from the public

The question of whether the documents were correctly delivered to the prince has so far delayed the start of the process in the USA. According to the British media, Prince Andrew is staying in the Scottish residence of his mother Queen Elizabeth (95) so that he cannot be reached at his registered address. Most recently, however, both the London High Court and the competent judge in New York had ruled in favor of the plaintiff on this issue.

However, there are now indications that Prince Andrew wants to go on the offensive. From his environment it should be said that he sees the lawsuit less as a threat and more as an opportunity. This is reported by the American news website Daily Beast. So Andrew could take action against the trial.

Prince Andrew: A turn in the Epstein abuse scandal could be imminent

Should that happen, it will be a drastic turnaround in Andrew’s behavior. His legal team had been trying for days to dismiss the lawsuit on grounds of formality. An unspecified source told the Daily Beast: “This is Ms. Giuffre’s civil case, she initiated and actively asked him to legally review her own version of the events.” The other side speaks of inconsistencies in the statements of Virginia Giuffre.

The lawsuit is related to the abuse scandal involving convicted sex offender and US multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide in prison in 2019. Prince Andrew was several overnight guests at Epstein’s home in the USA and the Caribbean. Epstein and his ex-partner Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently waiting for her trial in a New York prison, are said to have made dozens of girls and young women into their addiction and sexually abused and fed other men for years.
